Is there a way of converting a US Janome sewing machine to work in the UK?

I have products from both the US and Europe and use converters. The only major problem with the current is that digital clocks will not run correctly. Other electronics do not rely as much on precise electrical wavelengths and such. Your machine will do fine. All of my gadgets and appliances work perfectly.

Yes. If the voltage has been converted it will run fine. They use 50Hz instead of 60, so it will run slower, but I doubt that will make much difference with a sewing machine.
As someone noted, the affect of slower motors can affect some clocks, but other than that it’s not a problem.
