  1. Thanks for the video!

  2. absolutely worthless

  3. I love this machine! Simple enough to teach on, sophisticated enough to do 4-step buttonholes and all sorts of other fun things.
    Happy sewing!

  4. Thank you for the compliment!
I’m a lifelong Thespian Society member (drama club in high school), maybe that helps ;).

    Happy sewing!

  5. This helps so much.

I thought I hading been doing something wrong when threading my bobbin :P
It also helps that I have the same machine as you :D

  6. I think that would be such a great project! I hope you decide to do it on here.
I think mine is a little different from the “One Hour Dress”. It is from a 1928 pattern that has been reproduced on new paper and is called the “1920 Dress With Front Ties”. You can see it and/or order it at the Vintage Pattern Lending Library’s website. Go to their Catolog of Patters and then type the name of the dress in their search box and it will come up. They have lots of vintage patterns on there.

  7. Thanks! Happy Sewing!

I think I know which dress you mean. I’ve been thinking maybe that would be a good project to do as a series here. Is it the “one-hour dress”?

  8. I love your videos. Thank you for making them. It’s been 15 years since I’ve done any sewing, and watching your videos is the refresher I needed before tackling my new project…a cute little 1928 flapper day dress from a vintage pattern. Wish me luck! I will be watching more of your wonderful videos in preparation. I subscribed to you also. : )
